pentatriadic


    A scale of 11 notes generated from a chain of five T,M,D triads whose roots are separated by the D/T interval.

    See also tritriadic.

    The general term for scales decomposable into triads is polytriadic and for those scales with other types of chords, polychordal (Chalmers, 1979).
