Stellated, Stellation


    A procedure whereby the generating n-ad is completed at partial chord or "facet" of a CPS.

    The Stellated Hexany has 14 tones. Synonyms of the Stellated Hexany are Mandala, Tetradekany, and Dekatesserany. When tetrachords are used as generators, the resulting scale is an aggregate of original and inverted tetrachords in novel pitch relationships.
