The conjugate of a triad is the triad in which the dominant complement of the mediant replaces the mediant.
More simply, the conjugate of the major triad, 1/1 5/4 3/2, is the minor triad, 1/1 6/5 3/2, where 6/5 is the 3/2's complement of 5/4.
